The 1963 Jeep Wagoneer, designed by Brooks Stevens. Brooks Stevens was also the person who designed the Oscar Meyer Wiener mobile. There was a time in automobile history where things in life were a bit more simple than today, this jeep was created in that time. Stevens and a team of engineers were looking at other 4×4 vehicles and wanted to create a 4×4 that was easy to drive and comfortable. So, they took their design to Kaiser Jeep Corporation thinking they could sell a whole lot more jeeps with a new design. The Jeep Wagoneer was the first American Luxury 4×4. This vehicle opened a window to the future giving way to the many SUV’s that we have today.
